Manufacturing & Nearshoring
Manufacture inside the EU’s free-trade perimeter, at a cost base that still makes sense.
Ukraine sits on the EU’s doorstep with duty-free trade agreements, deep technical labour and incentive programmes most companies never hear about. What it does not have is a shortcut around local execution. That is our part.
Duty-free access to the EU
The EU–Ukraine Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) gives qualifying goods tariff-free access to the single market, with rules of origin that reward manufacturing performed locally. Moldova operates under its own DCFTA with the EU.
Cost arbitrage that survives scrutiny
Fully loaded labour, facility and utility costs sit far below Western and Central European levels — and below several of the Asian alternatives once freight, duty and lead time are priced in.
Engineering and technical depth
A large pool of engineers, machinists, welders, QA specialists and IT professionals, with established technical universities feeding it. English proficiency is high in Kyiv, Lviv and Odesa.
Diia City for ICT and R&D
Ukraine’s Diia City regime offers a dedicated legal and tax framework for technology companies — relevant if part of your operation is software, engineering services or shared-services back office.
Industrial parks and targeted incentives
Ukraine offers industrial parks, regional investment support and targeted incentives for manufacturing, technology and reconstruction-related projects. We map what your project can actually access and handle the paperwork.
Reconstruction demand and grant support
Reconstruction creates real demand for building materials, modular construction, energy equipment and industrial goods. Where relevant we identify applicable grants and donor-backed instruments, including TSA-type support programmes.
What shapes your cost base here
The readiness assessment shows you which of these drivers and incentive programmes apply to your project. A Destination Ukraine / Destination Moldova Custom Feasibility Report converts them into quoted, sourced numbers for your specific project.
Reconstruction
Reconstruction is not a future market. It is being contracted now.
Energy, housing, water, transport and industrial capacity are being rebuilt with municipal, state, donor and IFI money. Suppliers of building materials, modular and prefabricated systems, generation and grid equipment, machinery and logistics services are all in demand — and most of them need a local structure, local staff and local paperwork before they can invoice anything.
Materials and modular construction
Cement, steel, insulation, glazing, prefabricated and modular housing and site systems — supplied locally or assembled in-country to shorten lead times and qualify on local content.
Energy, grid and water
Generation, transformers, switchgear, heating and water treatment equipment, with installation and service partners on the ground and the permits that go with them.
Programmes and funding
Municipal, state, donor and IFI-funded programmes have their own registration, tender and reporting rules. We identify what your product fits, prepare grant and tender documentation and keep the compliance side clean.
Housing your people, not just your plant.
Relocation succeeds or fails on the domestic side. We handle housing search and lease negotiation, international and local schooling, medical cover, banking and residence paperwork, contracts and the financial management of relocation packages — for the manager and for the family that has to agree to come.
